Trailer-Boy

Sounds like trailer-boy is doing an excellent job on repairing the trailer for the hunt.
Looks good so far!

Sorry, I couldn't resist! He is getting tired of me backing out on helping him with the repairs though. I am calling myself out JB. Send some more pictures and I'll post them.
I did some early tuning up on my back yesterday (2 more cortisone shots). I will be doing back flips through the milo! It sucks getting old. Hey old dogs, did you start falling apart at 44? You know, about 40 years ago?

Except for unscheduled maintenance on some pump plumbing, nothing has started to fall apart yet. There's a lot to be said for clean living. (Think I might try it sometime.) Glad to hear work is progressing on the trailer. We'll put it to good use. Took Bubba out to the farm for the first time yesterday. At first he was totally flummoxed: He'd never seen any place so big with such tall grass. He soon got over that and was chasing the retrieval dummy in the tall grass. That is, until he ran (at full speed) into a big log hidden in the grass. He cut his chest and scraped his belly; cried like a baby until I petted him some. 5 minutes later he was running around as if nothing had happened. Next time I'll take a gun and fire it when he goes after the "bird". Will probably start out with some low power (and noise) reloads. He's about 6 months old now and seems to be shaping up well.

I would definitely recommend reloads with nothing but the primer to start. It worked real well with all of the previous grey ghosts that shared the milo stubble with us. Just put the primer in the shell casing and bring it with the "dummy". When he gets excited, pop a cap.

The same thing works with all men....get them excited and they pop a cap...what noise? Did you hear something?

What the hell is "flummoxed"? Is that anything like being Qum-quatted?

LP,

The receiver "potty" is HALARIOUS! How I wish we had one on the many midnight runs through St. Louis when "Sinbad" needed a potty break. Would have saved us much embarrasment while he "mooned" passing cars and let the TP blow across the road!

Do you think it could be incorporated into the hitch frame on the USOPHT dog trailer? Also, maybe install a seat warmer?

Ahhhhh, what fond memories.... I will always remember St. Louis in a special way.

Amazing...it still exists. And that's exactly how I remembered it!
