Hi all...here is Scooby with his wing on a string training. I hope all this training pays off! He understands "Whoa" and "easy" so if we can catch him on point, we should be able to slow him down. It will be interesting seeing him get into the dog trailer!

Excellent style. His instints will trigger nicely when he gets a hot scent from a real bird. Can't wait.
Scooby looks good. I haven't used the wing on a string method with Bubba. Since he's so young (barely 8 months) I thought I'd see if his instincts would suffice without special training. If not, considering his young age, I can always use the technique later. I'm having trailer concerns with Bubba also. I'll just have to see how he reacts. He's still just a big puppy, and I don't want to push him too hard.
I have a blaze orange collar that is too big for Scooby. Should I bring it for Bubba or just return it?
Bring the collar. I was going to buy one today for Bubba. It'll save me the trouble. I'll reimburse.
